- Ended Crazy Comms' back-to-back title run (S03 Finals, 3β2)

Additional Notes:
From starting out as the #1 Quidditch Champions Streamer by average views and average watch time - to quickly becoming the broadcaster everyone would ask for - to a player on the Winguardians - Flyrish's Quidditch career started out hot before running into many roadblocks. Between a polarizing approach to controversial community moments, being named captain of an incomplete Winguardian roster, and high expectations from dominant 3v3 performances, the tides and community opinion quickly turned as Winguardians took early tough losses and new names emerged on the scene. Driven by his competitive nature and wanting to employ cunning tactics - he reformed Season 2 Winguardians into an overwhelming flex team that won every series without ever running the same lineup. Well, won all but one series: Crazy Comms. After a tough 2-3 series loss in the Season 2 finals against Crazy Comms by 10 points, Flyrish was even more motivated to close the curtains on CC's dominant run. Storming back onto the scene into Season 3 with the revival of Thin Ice, he brought back the minds and competitiveness of the players known to setting most of QC's metas: JMauler, Banthanor, and Pasawen. Thin Ice also recruited the services of Denji, Lina, Dementor, Yukio, and Fly's personal goat Chintasu (the quiet storm). Despite a tough start to the season, lots of outside noise, and losing a star player in Tux - the team was able to band together stronger than ever and make a push for the title....and they did it. After 3 seasons, Flyrish captained a team of players with no L7 Finals win to becoming champions after a tough 5 game series with Crazy Comms.

Quotes:
βDenji doesnβt need a clutch card. I said βI'll leave you aloneβ and the man catches anyway. That's just how Denji is.β
β Flyrishβyou're better than mostly every non playtesterβ
β YukioTakedaβI never doubted you, you really got more consistent and better this seasonβ
β GlasβI'm so proud of you, manβ
β Dementor
Additional Notes:
At first, I wanted to be a good chaser. But everything changed the day I met YukioTakeda and watched him play seeker. I told myself: βI want to be like him. I need to be like him.β
Being a seeker isn't just about chasing the snitch, it's about survival, awareness, and communication. My job is not only chasing the snitch, but to understand everything happening on the pitch. Even if my teammates can't see the snitch all the time, they trust that I have the whole picture, and that I'll call for help exactly when the moment is right. That trust lets them focus on their own roles without hesitation.
I focused on what I could do for them: β’ Giving my beater the right information and positioning myself so he can close the distance and land the hit on the enemy seeker. β’ Helping my chasers by telling them where I am, they can check if it's a good time to score or if one of my chasers is free and close to where I am, they can also hit the enemy seeker or beater and when to stay fully committed to offense or defense. β’ Keeping my keeper informed whenever Iβm moving toward our hoops so can stay ready for the kicks on the enemy seeker.
Even if my job looks simple (survive, track, catch) I know it's much more than that. My real responsibility is making sure my team can play without fear. They trust me to control that space, to keep them informed, and to call for help only when the moment is right.
And I won't fail them. Not now, not ever.
I want my team to feel completely free to: attack, defend, rotate, and play their game. Knowing that I'm watching every angle, reading every movement, and doing everything I can to secure the catch when it matters. Their trust is my responsibility, and every match I step in with one goal in mind: to prove they were right to believe in me.
To Yukio: my mentor, my friend. Every snitch I caught has your fingerprint on it. Sometimes I even called myself βMiniYukioTakedaβ because I wanted to reach the level you showed me. You were the first person to believe in me, you believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself.
I will carry all of this with me forever.

Quotes:
"You are my defacto chaser" β Flyrish
"You always tackle me, I can hear Jaws music when you're after me" β Aro
"I can't score when Chintasu is on the other team... she's just that good." β Gertnett
"She's a keeper as a chaser." β DakeBluBey
Additional Notes:
(Written by Flyrish) Chintasu, aka The Quiet Storm, thundered onto the scene with UNO mid season 1 showcasing lightning fast strikes when stealing the quaffle and a pounding force when driving downfield. She would help lead her team through unexpected victories ultimately helping them achieve a spot into NEWTS.
Despite an unfortunate round 2 exit, Chintasu's talents and abilities became well known amongst the competition - which landed her a spot on a chaser dominant NOX in Season 2. She thrived under the system providing stonewall defense and ball security while flexing all over the field; however, despite an overall successful NOX season, Chintasu realized like many others that dominant chaser game was stifled by the dreaded Hero Farm meta.
Going into Season 3, following the disbanding of NOX, Chintasu had to navigate through her options of where to play. While many teams showed signs worthy of her talents - one team emerged last second: Thin Ice. After some hesitancy from her first offer, the Thin Ice captain, Flyrish, begged Chintasu to join and promised that her talents would be put to it's fullest use. Chin, now once again faced with an all new chaser core, dedicated herself to being the ultimate team player and showcased an array of flexibility and tenacity. Her unselfishness and refined skills paid off in a series of close and clutch moments throughout the season all the way until she scored the final dagger in a deciding game 5 of the season 3 finals to claim her well deserved title: an L7 Champion.

Quotes:
βI'M STILL GOOD!" β Banthanor
βWut" β Banthanor
Additional Notes:
(Inspired by OutOfManaPotions) While a name that struck fear in the hearts of all chasers, established the blueprint of what it meant to be a high tier Keeper, and competed at the highest level in every format he partook in - Banthanor at his core is a chill and sweet guy. His love and passion came from pure joy of the game and not to necessarily beat anyone. While still competitive in spirit, Banthanor enjoyed playing with players of all skill levels and was more than happy to teach others. While it may have came later in his QC career, and on a different role than he is mostly known for, Banthanor finally achieved the most prestigious award in all of QC: an L7 Championship. Well deserved achievement to stack on top of his already impressive QC resume.
Quidditch Competitive Achievements:

Quotes:
"Pasa can't retire because he's my Goat" β Chintasu
Additional Notes:
With a personality mixed with bluntness and cunningness, you could see a lot of similarities with how he played the game of Quidditch. The ultimate do it all, he played every game showcasing offense, defense, and utility work to help the seeker. Even more impressively, Pasa never played Sober....and mostly never with much sleep either.

Quotes:
"Who the F#ck is GroobyGames?" β Banthanor
"Well, now they know who the F#ck GroobyGames is" β Flyrish
Additional Notes:
Grooby entered the league on a lesser-known team in Season 1, the Basilisk Brewers (RIP). After many scheduling conflicts ultimately leading to a team breakdown, she found herself a new home in the Squires, a team heralded with undeniable scrappiness and heart. As the desync settled following the first NEWTS, Grooby gathered the remaining Squires and transformed the team with a few new notable additions to form the Rim Reapers and Captained the team to a 4th place World Cup finish in L7s first split division.
Season 3 brought a change of scenery as Grooby continued her chaser career for the newly formed DQC. Although she hadn't intended it, she somehow resumed a captainship, albeit unofficially, through the season to finish in 3rd, one step closer to L7 history.
Season 4 was to be the make-or-break. After shaking off strong feelings of retirement, Grooby was warmly welcomed in by reigning champions Thin Ice. Utilised as a misfit and pro passer, Grooby spent the season berating beaters, seekers and keepers alike, whilst still showcasing scoring potential. A new crack had appeared, and a fierce utility chaser was reborn. After months of refining, Grooby entered Newts once again, staring down the finals for the first time and ready to make amends for 3 seasons passed without gold. After climbing back from the losers' bracket, TI became the first team to overturn the bracket and take on Velcro head-to-head for the final lap. History was made, and Grooby finally had her championship, all in part to Fly's captainship and TI's strategic edge and talent.
Throughout the seasons, Grooby received mentoring from a few well-known names in the community and paid that in kind to many players across the league. In Season 4, Grooby took the Nimbus Nighthawks under her wing, alongside her teammates and took immense pride in seeing others develop the way she had in the earlier seasons. There's no telling what's in store for Grooby Season 5, but one thing is for sure: it certainly won't be the last time anyone hears "oh my f#kn rims!"
"To every coach, captain, teammate and friend I've been fortunate enough to find across this community, this one is for you" - Grooby

- π Season 2 - Captain of the Season
